Ed Bechervaise is a Melbourne-based artist whose vibrant paintings draw on a background in street art, abstraction, and visual storytelling. Through expressive colour and intuitive mark-making, his work explores emotion, memory, and imagination, transforming everyday experiences into dynamic contemporary artworks. In this exhibition, Bechervaise collaborates with his wife, Lucie Kershaw, whose playful soft sculptures bring a whimsical sculptural dimension to the gallery. Together, their works create an engaging and imaginative conversation between painting and form. 

Inspired by the changing seasons, Four Seasons of Change reflects the different stages and emotional landscapes of the creative process, the highs, the lows, the moments of energy and inspiration, as well as periods of doubt, uncertainty and reflection. Like the seasons themselves, creativity is constantly changing, shifting between growth, abundance, stillness and renewal.
