Terrestrial examines the connection between earth and cosmos through works inspired by Australia’s diverse waterways. Each piece begins with painted studies of lakes, rivers, and coastlines, capturing the natural patterns, colors, and textures unique to these landscapes. Fluid layers of ink are then applied over these foundations, allowing unpredictable movements and gestures to transform the imagery beyond traditional representation.

This interplay of intention and chance creates dynamic compositions where familiar waterscapes dissolve into abstract forms that resemble planets, galaxies, and distant terrains.
