No Vacancy Annual is a curated group exhibition to bring together and celebrate local art. An exhibition that reflects the diverse art scene of our community, showcasing high quality, innovative, experimental and intellectually rigorous works.
There will be an award of a two week solo exhibition at No Vacancy (Valued at more than $4000). The No Vacancy curatorial team will choose one Artist who aligns with the gallery’s values and displays an ongoing commitment to development and growth in their practice.

Submission guidelines
You may submit up to two artworks (if accepted only one will be exhibited)
All Mediums accepted
All works must be made in the past 12 months
Works must be under 1 x 1 meter
All work must be for sale
$25 submission fee
30% commission will be taken on all sales
Delivery and pick up of unsold works remains the responsibility of the artist.
Open to Artists Australia wide
Please note: if submission guidelines are not followed, applications will be automatic disqualified. Please double check you meet the requirements!

OPENING NIGHT AND AWARD ANNOUNCEMENT:
Thursday 11th September 6-8pm
ARTWORK DROP OFF:
Friday 5th and Saturday 6h August 10am - 4pm
NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATION:
All applicants will be notified of their outcome by the 30th of August
ARTWORK PICK UP:
All unsold work must be collected either Saturday September 21st 4-6pm or Monday September 22nd 8am - 12pm

WHEN ARE APPLICATIONS DUE?
Applications are due by Midnight Sunday 17th August 2025
WHO CAN APPLY?
Artists from anywhere in Australia are encourage to apply. If you can get the work to us and have it picked up from the gallery within the outlined dates, please apply.
If an artwork cannot be picked up within the outlined dates, at the end of the exhibition the artwork will be returned to the artist via courier. We will package the works (using the artist’s packaging wherever possible), and send an invoice for courier fees, and will send once that invoice has been paid. Return Delivery costs are at the artist’s expense.
HOW CAN I APPLY?
In order to be considered for the exhibition, you need to fill out an application here and pay the $25 Submission fee
HOW MANY ARTWORKS CAN I SUBMIT?
You can submit up to two artworks per entry fee. However we will only include one work.
ARE ALL WORKS EXHIBITED?
No, not all artworks will be exhibited. We will curate a selection based on applications we receive.
WHAT MEDIUMS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
We will accept all mediums though please be mindful of the practicality of display. ie. Video artists will need to provide a method of display.
