This is a still life that was painted because I needed a chance to just switch off my brain and paint. There is no deep meaning to this work, just meditation. I just wanted to focus on colour and form, back to basics. I think you can see that focus and stillness in the work and as a result, it is quite a serene image despite the vibrant colour.
