At the start of the most recent lockdown, the 'new normal' seemed inevitable and the need for the 'old normal' proves tantamount as the search for a can of classic Coca-Cola began. 

This is the memory of a conversation between a shopkeeper and a customer - a conversation stuck on repeat as if each participant willed a different outcome.

Personally, lockdown has meant that I hold familiar objects, comforts and food (comfort food?) closer, drawing on the tranquillity they offer me. 

This shopper could have been me.
