Like many Melbournians, Level 4 lockdown has resulted in a self-inflicted "covid spread". I find myself frequently turning to the comfort food of my childhood. While enjoying the ooze of cheese and creamed corn, I am brought back to a more innocent time of the 70s. When I had the freedom to explore the world on my dragster bicycle. Where there was no pandemic, but a curfew of 6 pm. I would return home after a day of adventure, to a jaffle in front of the TV.
