Museum of Broken Relationships

Exhibition runs: 1 - 29 Sept 2019* Entry is free
*Gallery will be closed on Public Holiday 27/10/19

Croatia’s Museum of Broken Relationships, lauded as one of Europe’s most daring collections, will bring an innovative visual art and true-story experience to our shores for a month-long exhibition. Showcasing local stories and pieces from the permanent collections in Zagreb and Los Angeles, this special exhibition offers a temple of heartbreak and healing.

Made possible by the generous support of John Jerome Myers and the Croatian Community of Melbourne.

Have you ever had your heart broken? Do you own an object that won’t let you forget? Here’s your chance to give it the perfect new home. Donate your very own item and story of heartbreak to the global Museum of Broken Relationships before Wednesday 7 August, 5pm.

The Museum’s celebrated curators, Olinka Vištica and Dražen Grubišić, will hand pick several items for display as part of the Melbourne exhibition season at No Vacancy Gallery from 31 August to 29 September and all contributions will become part of the world wide collection.

To contribute your item, fill in a donation form. After submission you will receive a confirmation e-mail with further instructions.

All donations are exhibited anonymously and are non-returnable. If you have any concerns or questions, please contact: mobr@mwf.com.au
