Milla Weideman

Milla Weideman is a figurative painter living and working on Boonwurrung country. Her work explores the expressive potential of the human form, using bold shapes and intuitive colour to embrace the tension between abstraction and representation. Her practice is driven by an interest in vulnerability, connection and the quiet beauty of the ordinary. Milla completed a Bachelor of Arts at Monash University in 2023. She was the recipient of the inaugural No Vacancy Award in 2024.
