Lockdown 2.0 in Melbourne has been a heightened and anxious time for everyone. These objects have brought me comfort while I wait for the birth of my baby and reflect - Aesop creams and products that I had been saving are finally being used. The scent of Jasmine in the sunshine, always a sign of hope that the freezing Melbourne winter is coming to an end. Jewellery, a material statement that is really of no use to us anymore, but serves as a reminder of the life we will return to, eventually.
