Isolation Things consist of a collection of existing objects in my home as well as a few new ones that came along during lockdown. Some of the objects might seem familiar and recognisable to the viewer yet intriguing or unusual to others. This is an element in my practice that I tend to explore; to leave some components of the painting with an unfinished aesthetic and open to the viewer's interpretation. The iPad painting is a new approach to create new work as access to materials has been limited during the pandemic.
