10 artists and 10 works in one opening show.
The launch of No Vacancy is to showcase the diverse talent found within Melbourne.

May 23rd 2008 will see the launch of new Melbourne city gallery No Vacancy. The gallery will be the link between artist run and commercial art so far not established in Melbourne.

Opening night will feature 10 of Melbourne’s best artists and illustrators setting a standard to follow in the future. No Vacancy will concentrate not only on offering artists a prime location and platform to showcase their work, but during the course of the year exhibitions will be accompanied by artist run education programs and workshops.

No Vacancy aims to raise the quality of gallery for local and international artists exhibiting their work in Melbourne.

Each artist has supported No Vacany by offering 50% of sales as a donation to its launch.

With a wide range of artists, the night is simply to focus on the art. Each artists has been given a 2.4m x 1.2 board as their canvas.
