No Room Studios, run by No Vacancy Gallery, is a new studio space in North Melbourne:

No Room is offering an affordable and professional working environment in amazing premises on the cusp of the city.

The 100 year old, 170sqm, open plan with mezzanine warehouse premises, previously used as a residency, has a

fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, central fireplace, and common area with sofa. The warehouse sits at the end
of a quiet lane off of Victoria Street in North Melbourne, a quick walk to great coffee and food, Queen Victoria Market
and the city. Each tenant is provided with a 2.5 x 1 metre desk within an allotted 10 square metre area per person.

 

We are currently selecting 10 applicants from a diverse range of practices to fill the available spaces.

There will be a non-competitive working environment opening opportunities for collaboration, studio visits and
open studio days.

 

Included in a rental of $500pcm is:

- A desk (max 1 tenant per desk),
- Internet,
- Water & electricity,
- Security

- Storage

- Public liability.

 

Or the entire mezzanine level is available for lease: $2200 pcm. Would suit a small design agency or collective.

 

For each successful applicant their tenancy is for a minimum of 6 or 12 months.
