No Vacancy Gallery: New Melbourne Gallery
May 23rd 2008 saw the launch of new Melbourne city gallery No Vacancy. The gallery is the link between artist run and commercial art so far not established in Melbourne.
The opening night featured 10 of Melbourne’s best artists and illustrators setting a standard to follow in the future. No Vacancy will concentrate not only on offering artists a prime location and platform to showcase their work, but during the course of the year exhibitions will be accompanied by artist run education programs and workshops.
No Vacancy aims to raise the quality of gallery for local and international artists exhibiting their work in Melbourne.
NOTE: The Gallery is completely booked until December 2008, and is longer accepting requests for shows. However we will be accpeting bookings for next year during October, so please send any information through regarding possible shows after the 1st of October.

Sunday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

No Vacancy Gallery is a one of a kind venue found in the heart of Melbourne's CBD. The Gallery has a dynamic and innovative cultural presence, and offers itself as a one of Melbourne's most impressive venues that can be utilised for meetings, theatrette presentations, product launches, exclusive cocktail parties, formal dinners and special events.
While guests socialise they have the opportunity to view art exhibitions drawn from the Art Collection or can request to have a show organised. The Gallery can accomodate for functions numbers ranging from 12-250 guests.
An added feature when holding a function at the Gallery is the opportunity to arrange a speaker to provide an insight into the artwork, bringing to life the exhibition that will be viewed, alternatively private showings can also be arranged.
